Ditidaht First Nation homelands includes the West Coast Trail and the West Coast of Vancouver Island. It is home to the Nitinaht Campground, featuring brand new cabins for 2024. Basecamp yourself here for day trips on the West Coast Trail or power up in the wind for some kiteboarding with a kiting school on site.

Getting here  Getting to Ditidaht First Nation's Nitinaht Campground just got a lot smoother in 2024, thanks to a newly chip-sealed access road via Port Alberni.

If you are traveling from South Island, Nanaimo/Victoria, chart your way towards Lake Cowichan and at the junction continue straight on through to the community of Youbou, putting you on about a 1-hr logging road to the campground.
